A precision scale model was being used for demonstrations and presentations but faced repeated damage during transportation. Handling by third-party logistics providers made the conventional single-piece model vulnerable to breakage, reducing its usability and increasing the effort required for repairs or replacement.

The objective was to redesign the model for improved durability, easier transportation, and quick on-site assembly.
